This storyteller is really impressing me. White Star is yet another fantastic story by Lisa Terry, but the big difference is the tear-factor. My friends, be sure to grab your tissues. And, ahem, the heat factor is bumped up in White Star also. Of course there are plenty of funny moments too – just get ready to have your heart broken then stitched back up. There’s a little hope for me that there will be a sequel (read above: series – part 1). I’m crossing my fingers because I’m nowhere near ready to leave Keira behind.

A chapter from her next book was included again. Tricolor looks as great as Ms. Terry’s first two books. Now I’m anticipating two of her books! Hurry up!!!

I love this book!!!!
I loved this book so much! I can't believe how into it I was, I couldn't put it down. I usually don't read a lot of romance but this was different. It had many levels and will appeal to a wide variety of readers. I'ts certainly a tear jerker though so have the tissues ready. Other readers have said this would make a good movie and I agree 100%. I would love to see it on the big screen. I can't wait to read Lisa's other books now!
Keira was an overburdened teen - she had to grow up too quick, having too much responsibility for 17 year old girl. Poor Keira! I loved her and felt for her...I loved that she was a dancer too! Being in her thoughts, dancer thoughts, made the story almost like a dance also. Thinking like a dancer is different than...a regular person?
Phaethon was the perfect boyfriend. He's the boyfriend ever teen girl should have. The story was about finding how a great friend can be more than a friend, and about how crappy circumstances can be turned around even when it looks like there is no hope for a life after the tragedy.
I believe White Star is great for anyone who has ever lost somebody. It's a realistic portrayal of what happens to someone who has lost someone tragically. It shows how badly it can get when a person really wants to hold onto someone who isn't there anymore.
I read this book in 2 days and I'd love to see it as a movie. I'd recommend this book to anyone.
